This manual describes how to install and use the Avanti product, including configurations previously known as FreeAXP or AvantiFlex. Avanti emulates an AlphaServer 400.

Avanti can be used without a license key when the selected configuration requires zero license units. Paid license keys enable configurations that require additional units.

Neither zero-cost operation nor a paid license includes manufacturer support. Annual paid support can be purchased separately for any Avanti installation, including one that requires no license key. The zero-cost configuration is provided without warranty; paid licenses carry only the defect warranty stated in the applicable EULA.
