If a host NIC is added while Avanti or the Configuration Utility is running, close both programs and reopen the Configuration Utility to rescan the available adapters. If the adapter is still absent and MsiPcap is in use, open an elevated command window and run “net stop msipcap” followed by “net start msipcap”, then reopen the Configuration Utility. After installing or updating Npcap, or when a newly installed adapter remains absent, reboot Windows before starting Avanti. Reinstalling Avanti is not normally required.
