Avanti supports configuring 32MB to 3GB of main memory regardless of the guest operating system. Digital UNIX and Tru64 UNIX can use up to 1GB; this is a guest-operating-system limit, not a separate emulator configuration limit. Select an amount appropriate to the guest rather than assuming it can use all configured memory. See Virtual Alpha Base Settings for valid settings and license-unit bands.
