Separate Avanti processes can be configured to reference the same host optical drive, and Avanti treats a configured CD-ROM as read-only. Avanti does not coordinate media state or concurrent access between those processes, and this arrangement has not been qualified for 5.1.0. Prefer a separate image path or copy for each emulator when concurrent access matters. If one host drive is shared, keep the media fixed, expect guest operations to interfere with one another, and stop the affected emulators before changing or ejecting it.
